Hey why do I have to keep logging in???

Hi

Just wondering why I have to log in when ever I return??

I log in and put a check in remember me but the next time I return to Cyber tech I have to log in again?? This has happened only recently. How do I fix it?? :wave:

hmm, now i don't know too much about computers, but i think it could be one of two things... (1) maybe u are using the same browser window after u finished using hotmail? because usually this happens to me on forums.. or (2) did u delete your cookies? that could also be a reason...

that's just my best guess...

Funny thing I have to log into all everytime I return. http://www.msn.com/ is my home page and eachtime it indicates that I am not signed in, when ever I sign in and check remember me, in forums or MSN the next time I go in to the forum or MSN it indicates tha I am not signed in. I use Jasons cookie jar and in my allowed cookies I have all discussion forums and MSN cookies indicated?? can't figgure it out as it only happened recently :fyi:

Thanks for the suggestion though, but the problem exists even without my accessing MSN, hotmail, and I have not deliberately deleted any cookies from any of the forums I frequent or my MSN Hotmail sign in??? Everything worked previously and the appropriate cookies seem to be present and accounted for in my allowed cookies - wonder what is going on - what happened????

Just an update.

I exited this fourm and whent to my home page, still not signed in, and came back to this forum after I went to tools, intrenet options and deleted my history and files, and when I came back to thid forum I was still signed in??- we will have to see if it continues????

intrenet options and deleted my history and filesDeleting TIF and History via IE would not delete Cookies. There is a seperate button for that.

additional update.

Well I logged off from my ISP, then re-logged in everything worked fine and I.E. opened to my home page and it inficated that I was not signed in so I signed in and went to "My page" and then to the main page, my home page and it showed that I was signed in - fine so far? then I migrated to this forum page and had to sign in so I could post to this thread? Strange things goin on :wave:

Do what Degsy is suggesting. You could have corrupted cookies. Delete all cookies in ie properties and try again.
