Subject: Psychology test question

Read this question, come up with an answer, and then

A woman, while attending her mother's funeral, met a
man she did not know. He was handsome, witty,
intelligent, and rich, and she fell in love with him.
She believed him to be her dream man, but, in her
swoon, she failed to get his address or telephone
number. She was not certain she remembered his name
correctly.

Though she searched mightily for two days, she could
not locate him. So she murdered her father.

Question: What was her motive for killing her father?
