Spacebar goes backspace ?

Hi people, my daughter says that after the two boys were playing with her PC, the keyboard spacebar goes backspace, every time she taps it. I hope it's just a setting or something, because I'm stumped. We're looking for some friendly assistance from somebody. Thanks topper.

Well first try START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL

Double click on the Keyboard Icon, depending on your type of keyboard there may be a setting in there assigning a key to the space bar.

I can't seem to find a thing relating to your prob.
For Murf's suggestion, yours may be different, but my keyboard icon does not have anything to do with key substitutions.

Since this is a very recent problem, you might try the old registry restore.
Boot system to real dos (not a dos window) and at the C prompt
type scanreg/restore. From the list of 5 last successfull bootups, choose a day on the morning this happened that day. Answer any Q's with yes and reboot.
