Howdy and welcome to CTH:
Download a win98SE or WinME bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com Once you have downloaded it, just run the file to extract the needed boot files to a clean, formatted floppy.. Next, boot into BIOS and make sure your first boot device is set to a: drive (floppy).. Put the boot floppy in a: drive, save the change to exit BIOS and let the system reboot.. Use the option to start WITH cd-rom support.. Once you get to a:> prompt, put your Win98 cd in, change to your cd-rom drive (probably one letter higher than normal) and type in setup Let Windows do its thing !! Murray |
