Make a million dollars and it'll only cost you $40.00

One of the spams I get...

http://home.graffiti.net/praetorians...s/scam.man.gif

...here is a quote from this guy.
Quote:
"Sit me at the keyboard of any computer in the world with access to the Internet, and in just 24 hours I'll earn at least $24,000 in cash."
First question that pops in my head is...
How much do you make per day selling your how-2-get-a-bazillion-dollars-while-you-pick-your-nose
at $39.00 US a pop? He would have to sell 615 packages in one day to make $24,000.00

Obviously he isn't selling 615 packages a day otherwise he'd be famous instead of unknown.

Your thoughts?

I can promise you a life where you do not have to work, get room and board paid for and have all the convenience of home. All you need to do is to purchase a ski mask. Send me 50 bucks and I will tell you what you need to do.

I wonder how many individuals fall for these scams daily.

Ski mask

I think one thing these scammers have in common is they all prey on the weak and the self depressed.

lose weight
make easy money
don't be bald
how to pick up chicks

People with self esteem probs and susceptible to pie-in-the-sky promises. These scammers
would never dream of walking into a Mensa meeting and tossing their gab at them.
It's the fine art of being a cheat and a liar without breaking the law.

Well that would include the whole U.S. cable/air users of television and
all people who read magazines, read billboards, etc, etc, etc. It's not esteem problems, it's stupidity problems. But then again, some mighty smart people have been taken by a scam or two or more. I have a hard time believing 2 commercials in a row on TV, much less any emails. There is hardly no difference at all between what you stated about making money and any commercial or ad now showing to any public audience.
There ought to be a law. There is no law against stupidity. There are laws for the most insidious scams on certain people....elderly, etc.
I always wondered who in the HE double hockey sticks would believe this?
Many do or it wouldn't be on.
