Hi all I was wondering if I migh be able to get full destructions on how to reformat a Dell Dimension XPS T450MHz along with any tips on dealing with that stupid resource disk Dell decided to incorperate instead of just being like anyone else and making it easy. I am familiar with doing it when it is in front of me but will be talking over the phone with someone and I want to make sure I don't miss anything or get stuck. I know the last time she reformated she couldn't get her sound back so hence the tips on the resource disk. I don't know much about those disks. I need the "low level format" ones I think is what people call it. When you go into MS-DOS and delete and create partitions. I have been here before under another name and you all have been very helpful.
