Windows 98 will not shut down

Hi, all
When I attempt to shut down Windows 98 SE by selecting "Shut Down", it just restarts. It just started doing this recently. I don't remember doing anything to the settings.
Anyone got any ideas about this?

Thanks for the reply, but I could not find a solution to this problem. Whenever I attempt to "Shut Down" the machine it just restarts by itself.
