Does any1 know what these file types are associated with > *.jdp > *.plt > *.svm > *.svd > *.bmk

.plt is an AutoCad vector graphic file
.svd is a Word backup file
.bmk is a Help bookmark
Do I get a prize? Is this for a course you're taking?? ;)

So if svd is a backup file for Word, could i rename it and view it??
Hang on y my asking lets give it ago......UMM just incase it dont work any ideas on how to view these files?? Does any 1 know of an app associated with all these file types??

just noticed th@ my original post said jdp sposed to b jdb. any ides wot uses this ext???
It's not listed on th@ page MrGuru but thanks it's very useful :D
Oh and the renaming didn't acheive much :confused:

.jdb is a Siren Jukebox file, from Sonic Foundry (http://www.sonicfoundry.com/).
So what's up with these files? Are we being quizzed on our 'extension knowledge'?? :cool:

Na, it's not a quiz :D but u would of done alright if it was :) :)
I'm doing a network course and have downloaded some of the course material. Now there's a time restriction on the login which runs out soon and the applet which i've downloaded seems to be login protected as well. My worry is that when my login runs out i'll lose access to all the locally stored info as well.
So as a precaution i'm trying to find an alternative way to access these files. :D
