I am trying this through GoDaddy's, I have the webspace available elsewhere, so I don't need to use that kinda service, I just want to purchase the domain name. :)

After going through the procedures, I'm prompted to put in the Nameservers, there are six boxes to add this information. I have available to me the following info'...

NameServer 1 :ns1blahblah.net

NameServer 2 : ns2blahblah.net

I have tried entering this as it is above, but I'm told pretty much that all six "boxes" have to be filled out. I've looked all over the GoDaddy website, for more info' or help (FAQ's etc), but I canna find anything!!! :(

Thats interesting, I just check my godaddy account and only the first two are required and I only show 3 spaces for nameservers.

Where are you at at godaddy. In the account select the domain name you want to add the nameserver to, then click the nameserver box at the top of your account window, then you should have 3 nameserver fields on the right.

The bold text is where I need to enter the info', but again it's showing six boxes!!! :(

Also, I never got a confirmation email after registering with GoDaddy, I've a feeling my Verizon Netmail is putting a block on it, if you have the email address, can ya post it here please? :)

You get the Nameservers from your WebHost.

I have them but even trying them in the first boxes (one above the other, then the second boxes then the third, I get an error saying I've entered at least one incorrect NameServer, I've ran out of ways to add them now. :(

It would be
ns1 . domain . com
ns2 . domain . com

where domain = webhost
Also you need to check with the webhost as the ns value could be anything.
e.g. ns14.domain.com

What error do you get?

lufbra

The error is....

You have entered at least one incorrect nameserver.

The servers are...

ns13.woolnet.net

ns14.woolnet.net

So in the first boxes (one above the other) do I enter

ns13

ns14

Then in the second two boxes...

woolnet.net

woolnet.net

? :)

You're not adding an extra "dot" in there are you? It should look like this...

You may want to contact godaddy, or set it up yourself using Zoneedit.com

Godaddy may have to add those nameservers to thier zone file too. I'd call them up and tell them what you are trying to do. I use zoneedit on a domain hosted with 1and1 and had to call them so that they could set up thier zone file correctly before it would work.

Well, after not being able to get online for over 3 hours (an ISP problem, my sledgehammer was at the ready, was getting withdrawl symptoms ya know :p ) Once I finally got back here, I tried Rockboy's suggestion, and it seems to have worked fine. :)

It's getting late here, and I know this kinda thing may take a while to "go through", so I'll check to see if it did take, tomorrow..........Thanks for all the help here guys. :)
