I have a 30 computer AD domain with 5 XP Pro boxes, none running SP2 yet. I have 2 programs that need to access them: SPManager to push updates to them and Symantec's Ghost Solution Suite so I can create and restore images. I can see the NT40 and the W2000 boxes but the XP's are "access denied" or failed to connect, etc. I have FULL administrator rights on the W2003 server & XP Pro that is hosting both programs and F/P sharing is checked. I use static IP addresses and can ping and command line into the boxes from my administrator's login.
HELP!!

Absolutely!
That is what seems strange, everything seems accessable but still I cannot connect with ServicePack Manager2000

I don't know SPM2000 but it does sound like an issue regarding that third party program.

Most use SUS (M$)
