What do you want from the internet?
I know my main reason for being on it is research and learning.
But I guess thats been taken over for this board I spend more time here then any where else.
I like the feeling of being able to help, since I can no longer do it in person.

Come on Chris!
Your being a part of that little guy's life is a big help, weather you know it or not. I am sure the same is true for all of your family.
What I will miss the most is the feeling of satisfaction that is just a post away in a help forum. It is a drug that will take me a while to kick.

For me the net started out as a place to update my software and get new drivers but then i discovered my first tech site and thought wow what a great way to get help. After a while i realised that there where people out there that actualy knew less than me:eek http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/frown.gifhard to believe i know http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/wink.gif) and i started to pass on some of the help i'd recieved. Now it's like Tram says about it being a drug, i probably spend more time searching the net for info to help others than i do anything else but as i've said before i always gain more than i could ever give.

What I get from it is friendship and people to talk and laugh with, and I really enjoy it. People have said it's hard to believe, but it's true I'm basically a shut-in. I work at home and I see my hubby.....and, that's it. I'm afraid of people really, IRL. I don't want to be around people at all! But I'm not on the net. I know there must be something intrinsically wrong there big-time, hehe! Well....anyway.
