Leftovers from uninstalled programs

Does anyone know how to get rid of menu items and title bars associated with programs that have been uninstalled; for instance, "Filo properties" and "Uninstall Filo" on my Internet Explorer Tools menu. Also, my IE title bar still says "Internet Explorer provided by AT&T WorldNet Service" even though I am no longer with AT&T. Do I need to make registry changes? Thanks for any help - this stuff bugs me!

Hi bluedevil59,

There are programs available to deal with orphaned links and files.
I always recommend Mcafee Uninstaller.
It will take care of all uninstalls you have to do on your computer.
It's capable of cleaning orphaned links and files, and it has the
ability to move programs as well. It does an excellent job.

There is a way to change the title on your IE titlebar. You have to edit the registry though.

Goto start > Run then type regedit.exe
Then goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

right click goto New > String Value call it Window title.

Double click on it and type in whatever you want your IE Titlebar to be
