Extending 30 Day trial period software
First I wish to say I am not a software Pirate. I am a student taking an online course with the local tech college. The text book for this course was written for DreamWeaver MX 6.1. The newer version 7.0.1, for which serial numbers are readily available, does not match the text. I have installed a 30-day trial version of 6.1 but I need to use it for 10 weeks. I know of a few options. After the first 30 days I can install it in my sister's computer and it will be good for another 30 days. If I reformatted my hard drive, my system will then be "new" and won't show that it had ever been on my computer. I really don't want to go that way.
I will probably never use DreamWeaver after this course so I don't want to purchase it. Anyway, I would have to buy DreamWeaver MX 2004 (ver 7.0.1) because 6.1 is not available at Macromedia. I have said all that to ask this: How can I (is there a way) to remove the record of something like this being installed on my computer, without reformatting and reloading Windows XP. Thank you if you can help. Last edited by Tuesday; January 21st, 2005 at 04:15 PM. |

If I was you, I'd contact the program creators explaining your predicament, and asking if they can maybe help you.

I needed a couple more days on a trial program I was once using. All I did was change the date seting on my PC to make it think the expiration day had not been reached.
