Hi
Just downloaded the program and was wondering if there are any setting that I should optomize or is everything set automatically.
I am running A K62450 on a Asus P5A motherboard with 128 megs of ram and a Voodoo 3 2000 AGP vid card.

Frosty,

If you put it a line in your autoexec.bat calling the setk6 file then it will.

Did you do this ????

If not let me know how much RAM you have and I'll give ya a line to put in http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

Frosty,

OK you need to put this line in your autoexec.bat file in order for it to always execute the program.

So do this....

Extract all the files from SetK6v3.zip into a new directory C:\START

You don't have to call it START but putting it in the root of C:\ just makes it a little easier.

Then open up your autoexec.bat file with notepad and add this line .........

C:\START\setk6D /on:128M /M0:LFB /M1:LFB2

If you don't use START as the dir then replace as necessary.

Then reboot and the program will do what it has to everytime you turn on your computer.

If you ever get more memory (128 is enough) then replace the 128M with whatever you then have.

Hope that helps,

Hi
Mishy when I boot up I get the message that says. error In 128M/M0:LFB/M1:LFB2. Is this of any great concern, or is it normal.

Frosty,

If it says error then na that isn't normal.

Copy and paste this line into notepad and keep the spaces between the /'s exactly as they are. Also remember to change the START directory to the directory you extracted all the setk6v3.zip files into.

C:\START\setk6d.exe /on:128M /M0:LFB /M1:LFB2

I've added a .exe on the front - this shouldn't affect it, but it might help if you ever come to edit your autoexec at a later date and you were wondering what it is.
