when searching, it would be much better if you didn't have to specify which topics to search in cos sometimes what you search for isn't clearly defined. I know you can search the whole forum from the 'home' link but it would be easier from the BB

Can you explain a bit further what you mean please ?

Do you mean instead of having to specify which forum you'd like to search ie. Windows 95,98 etc. you'd prefer to be able to search ALL forums in one go ?

Or do you mean the search on the non-forum pages of the site ? That search doesn't search the forums only other non-forum pages.

Damhna I would prefer to have it that way myself however for CPU hogging reasons I can't :( I will give it some more thought (and a whinge at Infopop)

sorry bout the delay in answering but yes I did mean search without specifying which forum(win95/win98 etc)but search all forums by default.

I'd like to see a feature added where we could search by Member name instead of Number. I cannot remember what number someone is, but do remember their names.

I have remembered something being posted quite awhile back, and when I go to do the search I end up haveing to Look up a thread with that person in it, just find their number, so I can do the search. Very time consuming.

Is there anything that can be done with that?

Dodge it isn't at the moment as far as I'm aware. I'll look into it also...
