i find this software that`s useful for finding files and can also detect the registry keys for it
Xteq X-Find is a great program to find what you are looking for. Simply select where and what it should search and press "Go"; that's all you need to do. You can even specify a text that it should find inside the files.
X-Find is a small and fast file-search utility.
First, select the folder, where X-Find should search,
in the left panel. Then enter a file pattern
(for example, "*.*" or "*.TXT") and, optionally,
insert a text that should be found inside the files
that mach the pattern. Click the "Go" button to start
the search.
The found files are displayed in the right panel. By
double-clicking on one of them it is displayed in the
bottom panel. The text, that was found, is highlighted
(if this option is activated).
Different actions and options for this view are
available by simply right-clicking it
