Cyber Tech Help is in a constant state of development and I'm trying to introduce new ideas/features as quickly as I can. So if there is anything you would like added/changed then please let us know...

Didn't you get the email I sent out to all cybertechhelp.com email address users ?

I had to cancel the service because of the change of servers. It would have been awkward to say the least, and I'm afraid it's gone :(

I sent the email out a good few days prior to the service stopping so everyone knew what was happening. I'm sorry if you didn't get it.

That ones going to take a while I'm afraid. Because of the new UBB version its taking quite a while to get the older version hacks updated to UBB6. When it's done I'll give it some good consideration. BTW nice job on the clock on your site :D

Mishy is there way to see if you have any PM msg other than checking your profile?

What I mean is maybe some sort of place that would stand out which a member couldn't miss stating that you have a pm messages.

I know Tig has it under the hello xxxx login etc.

I know some might not check their profile or forget. Example is a pub owner ---- Right DAVE -- :D

Last I heard having the PM info under the username wasn't cache effective for the UBB - ie. wasn't using the caching system UBB6 was designed with so therefor caused slowdowns. However I will check it out for ya, and if the hack makers have it working fine then yes I will add it. You do however get notified via email upon reciept of a private message at the moment.

More graemlins are on there way supposedly in the next UBB version which comes out in a couple of weeks :)

I suppose I could come up with some features to recommend but so far there are so many great things that I have not taken advantage of. This I know -- when I have a puzzle regarding my computer, I immediately think Cybertechhelp and I can't recall any time when I haven't had at least part of my problem solved -- often all of it. Also, the freebie software references (example ZoneAlarm) have been of great help. My appreciation to all who are behind this site.


One thought just occurred to me -- maybe some place to comment on good bargains for purchase of computer gear. Not necessarily only price-related but good results from a newly-purchased item. For example, I'm pretty happy with my PenCamII from Aiptek (I think the link is www.aiptek.com) (http://www.aiptek.com)) which I bought online for $99.99. I guess it can be bought less elsewhere.

Arcee, I like the idea of your suggestion very much, just don't like the idea of paying for anything!! :eek:

Don't forget though, this board is pretty diverse, members are from all over the world, so if say you posted a link to a very cheap printer, it might only be that cheap in the US, we don't want the rest of the world to be jealous, and vice versa!! ;) ;)

Seriously, I'm waiting for more graemlins. - And I could use a link for the member's area in the "menu line" at the top of the page (there's links for startpage, registration, the forums, resources and so on - so why not for the member's area....). :confused:
