I recently bought and installed an integrated wifi card in my notebook. Yes, the notebook has internal wireless support for b/g signals. The actual product i installed in my notebook (Mwave (Uniwill) N258KA) is an Intel PRO Wireless 2200 B/G Network Card. So installed the hardware properly and connected the antennas and everything. after that i installed the driver on my computer and windows says that the card is working properly. However, the card doesn't even pick up the signal where there IS in fact a signal that others pick up. I look for networks available and it says that there aren't any in range when in fact there are. This is a school wireless network at a college, by the way. Is this a defect in the hardware? Did i not set up something correctly? help please~!
