Submitting your site to a search engine

How do i submit my site to a search engine? Im just curious:erm: , no biggie, thnx

Go to the main page of the search engine and look for a link to "Submit your site" or something like that. Sometimes you have to look around. The Google page looks like this...

if you can get added at www.dmoz.org that usually gets propogated to other search engines in time.
