wireless connection unavailable

i am running a dell latitude d505 laptop with a intel pro/100 ve wireless adapter. i am trying to connect to a dlink router but every time it doesnt pick it up. if i plug it straight into the router the connection works fine but my wireless doesnt work. i have taken my computer to a technitian and they tested my wireless and it works fine. please help.

Without knowing the particulars of your situation, my first suggestion would be to call the d-link tech support. I have called them before and found them to be helpful, although like most tech support, it is the luck of the draw as to whether or not you get one that has a clue.
