Just a thank you!

I just wanted to drop a fast note to all the users of this forum and say thank you for all the help. I keep an eye in here as much as I can but due to work and other things sometimes it gets to be rushed and slap dash to say the least. I also try to provide good advice to users seeking help and at least give them things they can try until such a time that I can really sit down and read over the topic. The fact hat we have so many awesome users really makes my job easier for sure. I thank you guys for helping out so much and being such a huge part of this forum. I can't tell you how many times I have seen great posts from z1p, and spider, and archangle, and degsy, and many many more. So to you guys I want to extend a very heartfelt thank you. You guys are the reason CTH is what it is. Keep posting, and remember that helping others is the first step in helping yourself....or something like that.

And to think, I've been told just this week that posting just to say thank you is a waste of bandwidth and that thank you messages are useless. To those that feel this way, I ask what's more important, that extra bit of bandwidth, or the satisfaction of knowing that you are part of a forum where all members are openly given the respect they deserve, and everyone can feel welcome starting from their very first post? That is how I felt when I first came here a few months ago, which is why I am still here. Anyone in their right mind can see that threads like this must exist on a forum in order for it to run as smoothly as CyberTechHelp does. bAdWaYs, IMO, you are doing an excellent job and you have demonstrated just one example of hundreds of reasons why this forum is such a great community to be a part of.

Thanks for the kind words hypno. I'm glad you feel like a big part of this place because the fact is...you are. All the users that post and help others are just as important to this forum as any mod that works here. To answer Murry no I'm not packing it in at all. I just wanted to give thanks to those people that help out in here because I can't always be here or help as much as I want to. To anyone that thinks a thank you is a waste of bandwidth I'd say never got a thank you from anyone.

I do a few tech sites but CTH has one of the friendliest members involvement. It's easier to assist
when the "air" is friendly.

I miss Greta P, I hope she gets some time to return again. Watching her and AnnMarie in action is
some of the most amazing foresight online techs I've seen on the Web.
They are truly gifted individuals.

thx bAdWayz... and I'd like to echo hypnotizeminds sentiment. I think the mods here do a great job ( the users too). I'm not one to usually participate in online forums, but I have enjoyed being part of this one. The mix of users and mods is great. It seems to be difficult to get a forum that is open, friendly, and technically helpful. I think this place has done that.

BTW Spider, I feel the same way about AM. I peek in on the CS forum now and then and she never ceases to amaze me.
