I networked three computers On one computer in the My Network Places there is several folders in the Unspecified column that show generic folders for the folders which contains documnets. I think the computer can not read them for some reason but don't know why? I have MS Office on the computer so I can read documents.

I can not open them or select a program in which to open them

Are these files you can't open passworded in any way? Do you have the right permissions setup in order to open then or change them in any way. In other words are they read only?
