Hey,
I have Halo PC (for anybody that does may be able to answer this) I am having trouble hosting matches on my computer. I believe its my integrated firewall built in to my router (which is a Microsoft Broadband Networking Base Station). Some people have told me I need to port forward Halo so that people can connect up to my games. I am not sure which port number to enter in the outbound and inbound slots and whether the Trigger Type should be TCP or UDP and if the Public type should be TCP or UPD. If anyone has this networking device and is familiar with how to configure it for Halo PC it would be really helpful.

The best site I've found for this is portforward.com. They list the ports for many programs, including Halo (http://www.portforward.com/cports.htm), and they also have instructions for most routers (http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm).

And on a side note, after all that hard work aligning ports, no matter how nice the computer, you'll be lucky to play 5-8 people and not have it lag out on you. Thus the reason for clan dues and expensive servers.

Though all the better to know your router, try it out.
