Colin McRae Rally 2.0

Hi Guys,
I love car rally games - especially Colin McRae Rally 2.0 (OK - I know it's pretty ancient). Anyway, I managed to get my hands on a brand new copy
and installed excitedly. Everything seemed fine - full response to all controls using the keyboard, but when I tried both my game pads, I couldn't get the vehicle to move forward faster than 20 mph. Any idea what has happened? It moves as it should when using the keyboard `up' arrow.
Any solutions will be much appreciated.

Great game eh (pity I burned out my TNT2 card with it once) :(

I don't think I currently have it installed on any machine but from memory, in the controller calibration you can set a deadzone for both axes, it's possible you have a huge deadzone for your controller Y axis.
