VPN Software

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct spot for this question but will start here. I currently have vpn running through 2 linksys befvp41 routers. I have several users that travel with laptops and want to vpn but don't want to carry a router with them. Is there a "free" vpn client software that will work with the linksys and/or does anyone have experience with the windows xp vpn solution?

Hi, actually didn't try the ssh sentinal yet. I tried the windows xp software unsuccesfully. Even called Linksys tech support and they said not to use it as the protocol was different. They suggested "GreenBow". I downloaded the 30 day trial version and was able to connect succesfully. The most difficult part was configuring the befvp41. I kept forgeting to "save" the changes and it would put me back to tunnel 1 instead of 2. So if I wasn't careful I would change my router to router settings instead of creating a tunnel for my software to router. I will be trying the SSH Sentinal probably this eveing.

With a little effort was able to get SSH Sentinal to work. The setup is a little tricky as the instructions are not very clear. If I set it up several times it would get easier I'm sure. The "GreenBow" was much easier as the terminology was easier to read...closer to the terminology in the befvp41. I'd be glad to lend my limited knowledge to anyone seeking some assistance!
