I have a Hewlett Packard 656c printer and having problems with my usb. It will not detect it. I have downloaded my software. When i insert my usb cord to my printer it wont work. Its giving me a hardware found apollo p2500/2600 in the Device manager and a exclamation mark on the other devices the apollo hardware found. Im using Windows 98. Please help!!

Did you have another printer on this system before downloading and installing the HP software? If so, you should remove that software first. Then install HP's software, then connect the USB cable.

Photolady, Ive tried that and still no luck. The usb and parallel port is not recognizing the hardware or could it be the drivers. PLEASE HELP!!:disgust:
