Windows 98 won't boot.... whether I choose Normal mode or Safe mode, it runs Scandisk in a loop. Scandisk finds bad sectors near the end of the drive and I tried repairing but it is a slow process... cluster by cluster. Downloaded HD diagnostics and it said there were no errors or problems with the drive. I'm pretty sure Windows was corrupted by a virus and I would like to run setup in DOS mode. However whenever I try to do this, it says that Scandisk needs to run.:dizzy: Is there anyway to disable Scandisk from DOS?? Thanks.
