I keep getting a pop up that says:
Lucomsever_2_5
This program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down

If the problem persists, contact the program vendor

Details read as follows:
LUCOMSERVER_2_5 caused an invalid page fault in
module LUCOMSERVER_2_5.EXE at 01a7:00500e6f.

What is this all about and what do I need to do to stop it from coming up all the time. It just started yesterday after downloading a update from Microtek for my scanner.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

That's Norton's Live Update Communication Server. Make sure your Norton is updated.

We have deleted the Norton Anti vir. off our computer just today as someone else told us it was a problem with there program. We did a uninstall and it said it was complete. But this Lucomsever illegal operation still keeps poping up. How do we get rid of it?

I'm sure there's a more efficient way, but all I've done in the past (after uninstalling Norton using their uninstall program) is registry editing. If you're comfortable in Windows Registry, let me know.
