Help, I can't download flash player???

I go on the macromedia website, click the button which says "get macromedia flash player", then click "get flash player only free" then the screen loads but nothing happens, it doesnt install. I have read the bit on the website which says about clicking the gold bar at the top of the screen but there isn't one? What do I need to do?

Thanks,

Hi Mac,

Your internet security settings may be too high to allow the install. Go to "tools", "internet options", then "security". Change each zone to default level.

You can download a standalone installer for Flash here

http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/downloads.html

you can download and install whilst offline so that should work round the issues you're having

That's the one you want, you unzip it to anywhere convenient on your hard drive and there should be a setup or similar file when you've unzipped

Hi,
Maybe we should start again.

Goto Internet Options>Security>
Click the Custom Level button.
In this section set the dropdown to Medium-Low
Apply

Start IE and see if you can install flash.
