i took my old dell inspiron 7500 on a trip with me.. i turned it on and did some browsing... but that's alll i can remember... cause it was like 2 months ago, now when i turn it on, it just sits at the bootscreen forever and never goes through... i try safemode and that doesn't work.. anything i could do?

What part of the world did you take it to?
Did anything happen to it during the trip home (dropped, bumped, X-ray'ed, took it through a metal detector, etc.) ?
Will it boot from a boot floppy?

well i took it about.. 2 hours away... to my uncles house. it just sits at the ME screen.... i haven't tried a floppy yet. dunno if i have one. and if i do, i wouldn't know what to do with it
