Cannot Access Secure Sites Via Both IE and Fire Fox

I recently had a trojan horse that I removed with a software called Adaware Away. It worked great, but when I went to go back into either IE or Fire Fox browsers, both of them were preventing me from accessing any secure sights such as my online banking and credit card accounts.

In clearing the Trojan Horse with Adaware Away, I believe I altered some security setting that will not allolw me to access such sites.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Degs,

Thanks for the site, it looks like a great product, but I ran the software and my problem still exists. I can access most websites, its just ones that are secure that I"m having a problem with.

Do you have Internet Security software?
If so that may be blocking the sites.

If not then it could be a registry or TCP/IP problem seeing as though a browser problem is ruled out because of it happening with IE and Firefox.

I suppose you could try Opera to see if that works.

Other options would be to remove the Network device from Device Manager and the Network connection from Network Properties and let Windows renew them.
