Pop up Blocker

Can you guys recommend me a good pop up blocker that I can download for free because I really need it. The computer is getting random pop ups all the time and it is very annoying. It also autoamtically downloads stuff to my desktop.

A popup blocker might stop a percentage of the popups, but most of them will still come through, and the downloads will continue. Download a few utilities to remove spyware and adware from your system, such as Spybot and Ad-Aware SE, remove all the baddies they find. Then download HijackThis v1.99.1 and scan with it. Save your log and post the entire log into this thread.

Yes, you have a significant amount of malware in your log, which I will leave to a HijackThis expert. Good job with posting the log. You should also move hijackthis.exe to a new folder, instead of a temporary one. Create a new folder in your Program Files and call it HijackThis and copy and paste hijackthis.exe into it. Do this, then post the new log in a new thread in the Cyber Safety forum and you will be assisted from there. Thanks. :)
