Hi all..

i have a problem accessing 1{and only one} of my favourite sites

i get to access the main page but when i go to any other part of the site i keep getting a message.

"A script on this page is causing mozilla to run slowly. If it continues to run it may cause your computer to be unresponsive"

it then asks me wether i want to abort, which if i do i lose the info on the page..

the site is http://www.sportsfish.com.au/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27759&FORUM_ID=26&CAT_ID=7

any help greatly appreciated.

It looks like the page is not mozilla friendly. I got the same error with firefox but did not get the error with opera or msie.

Did the problem just start?

I am not sure if there is a fix for it. I looked at my settings and everything seems cool. Maybe someone else here will know or you could try to contact the board owner and see what he says.

It is up to you whether or not to reload msie. You can try opera which is similar to Firefox with tabs and such. However there is an ad across the top of the page. Also if you are using Firefox, There is an extension (https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&version=1.0%20&os=Windows&numpg=10&id=35) where you can be in firefox and open a page in msie.

nothing may have seemed to happened - it is a real small file. Check your tools - extensions and see if ieview is there. If so, then shut down the browser and reopen. Then rightclick the link after you entered the home page of the site and select open link target in msie.

Trashes Firefox for me too.

That page was the first time I ever saw that message so I checked the source. The page is built with Javascript on Javascript on... and on. I have the ieview (Open with IE) extension renegade mentioned and that works.

you will still need to install msie if you do not have it for the extension to work.

It will not work with firefox. You will have to use the ieview extension to open the page up in msie or use anther browser.
