Recently i blew some dust out of my pavilion xt868. When i booted it up again the screen was on 640X480. also the mouse has disapeared. When i try to change the resolution it gives "the computer must be restarted for these changes to take effect" message. (I also recieved a "rundll has caused an error in mmsystem.dll". I think i fixed that by editing the system.ini file but it may have something to do with the other issues.) But when i restart it, it's exactly the same as before. If anyone knows anything i could really use some help. thx.:dizzy:

ps
the unit has not been hooked to the internet for about 2 years.

before you do anything else, reopen the case and make sure all cables and cards are plugged in tight, sometimes things come loose when blowing and moving cables to get rid of all the dust.
