I forwarded a folder that was full of jpg pictures from my home I had saved to my computer here at work...I'm on XP at home...When I click download it will not open...I am on Windows 2000 here at work...it is an .lnk file...I'm going to give as much info here as possible...the folder I sent was Vacationpics...

When I hit download I get a block to choose to save or open...I hit open & a little Windows Explorer box with a little red circle with an X in it says:

Vacationpics.lnk is not accessible
The directory name is invalid

I've also tried saving it and then opening from there but get the same thing...HELP...How can I open this folder here?...Thanks in advance for anyones help...I am fairly computer illiterate so make it easy when you reply!!!

Welcome :)

Something has gone wrong with your procedure.

lnk (LINK) files are shortcuts.
You seem to have uploaded the shortcuts to files instead of the files themselves.
