want email profiles not linked to windows login
I am looking for an email program that can be accessed regardless of the windows login, since I share a computer and don't want to make the other person log out in order for me to check my mail. We want our own profiles for some things. I can do what I am asking about with Netscape communicator 4.7, which I still use (for most of my mail) for this reason. The browser is too old, so that is a problem for everything except mail. I do not want a second copy - I want the same mail folders to be accessed regardless of who is logged into the computer. I think this has something to do with where I store the mail (not under documents and settings) and profile folders, but my attempts to set that up has not resulted in what I want. Someone mentioned changing the command line to open the email program by finding the mail folders in a specified place. I wasn't sure how to do that. the OS is Win 2000 (at least for now). I don't want to use Microsoft programs. thanks.

Welcome
![]() Shame because Outlook Express would do exactly what you want by setting the store folder to a globally accessible folder.
