My icons dont look right

My icons look stringy or fuzzy sometimes black i have updated some drivers of what i dont recall. but i went by the recomendations of drivers headquarters. if i got to my favorites in explorer and click on a link and drag my mouse the link is a trailing thing

Right click your Desktop then click on PROPERTIES, then click on the EFFECTS tab, take the check off of the box for "Show icons using all possible colors", then click APPLY and OK.

Go back into the same place and recheck the box then click on APPLY and OK again, doing this sometimes solves this problem, my icons would sometimes do that after playing 3D games (Quake III, Tomb Raider, etc.).
