Outlook automatically renames attachements to .bin

Hello,

I have a very strange problem:
Some attachments are automatically renamed by Microsoft Outlook 97 to .bin files.
For example, when receiving a pdf file, Outlook makes it a .bin. Afterwards if I save and rename it to .pdf again and then try to open it, the pdf file is empty
Same thing happened with jpg files

Does anybody know of this bug and know how to solve it?

Hi Crupa, are these attachments sent from a Mac?
