Driect X

I had recently made apost and mybe no one saw it..but i just recently installed a game..when the game goes to start up a message pops up and say " Direct X detect not enough video memory". i tried everything i know from reinstalling the game to trying a newer version of direct x. i have more than enough ram and CPU speed to play this game. Can anyone help me?

What game and whats ur specs and whats ur directx version?

Its telling you that your lacking in video memory on your video card. You will need a new video card if you want to play this newer game.

I have a Asus Radeon 9250 with 256 MB of ram. the game only requires 128 MB of ram. The Game is tiger woods golf 2003. the Driect X version Is 8.1. I still dont see how a 640 MB computer with a 256 MB card should have any problem with a Game that needs 128.

Well thats interesting. the memory on the card is more then enough. it is a very low end card however. but why its complaining about low video memory not sure. its not virtual memory its reffering to or system memory. something isnt right in denmark.
