i wanted to create a winzip file but when i used the wizard function i used Add Folders instead of Add Files because i wanted the files to still be organized in their folders.. but when all the transfers were completed, all the files were together without their folders.. how can i organize them into folders again?

depends what you mean.
If you are looking into the archive without extracting it then it does list all files.
It does not restore the folder structure until you extract it.

well they might not seem to be in the folder,
but these files will be in the representative folder when you will extract.

If you want to zip a folder up this is the easiest way. Assume I want to zip up the folder C:\folder1
Open a Windows Explorer and go to C:
highlight (click once) on the C:\folder1 folder
make sure your pointer is over the highlight and right-click once
you'll see in the menu the choice Add to folder1.zip...click (left mouse) once.
The folder1.zip will be created in C: with all sub folder structures intact.

That is how the process works.
When you add folders to the Zip/Archive only the files are listed. The structure is stored in the archive.
The folder structure will not be reconstructed until you extract the archive.

If u wana create a compressed file or something like that then i suggest to use powerarchiver.
With powarch is compressed and self extracting file making easy and fast.
Powarc inclused zip, rar, pae and lot more extensions + encryption and decryption....
i hope that wasnt offtopic :S
I use it and so far hasnt been no problems creating or extracting anything.

I suggest you actually extract the compression to the desktop and then look.

When you extract the zip file the folders will be like they were. When you use winzip to view the contents of the zip file, right click on one of the files and select file properties and you will see the folders it's in listed by "path".
