That link Miz is pointing to shows how to add your hotmail account for pop3 access within Outlook
but unfortunately Hotmail does not allow free pop3 access any more, they want $20.00 per year
for pop3 access.

To add your hotmail address book to Outlook's address book the actual process is...
Open Outlook Express (or Outlook)
Tools
Address Book

when the address book is open
Tools
Synchronize Now

...but again hotmail is blocking this because they want $20.00

It's a rock, a hard place, and 20 bucks.

Yahoo charges the same and so do the other web based email servers, they are all $20.00 per year.
They all allow free access via a browser. Email server machines are different computers and that
costs extra money. I don't know of any business that pays hundreds of thousands of dollars to set
things up and then give things out for free.

It's not really fair to call Microsoft greedy, they allow you to create an account and use it for free and
never ask you for a dime. Try and get anything free from McDonalds...isn't going to happen unless your
happy with a fist full of straws, salt and pepper.

Perspective my good man...perspective.
