Windows ME system, freezes after about 2mins of internet connectivity (through AOL dial-up) Found and removed loads of spyware, no viruses found after virus scan, but decided to wipe the drive anyway, and start afresh.
reinstalled windows through use of recovery disk, but problem has not been solved! PC works fine otherwise...
do you think it could simply be the modem?
plz advise!
