Error 619

Can anyone help me with one please.
When on the internet my modem will disconect and error 619 appears saying "connection to remote computer could not be established so port was closed".
There is no set pattern to it ,,could be on for hours before it happens or a matter of mins.Have to pull out connection from back of modem then put it back in and it works fine again.
Any ideas

Steve

Who is your ISP and do they have a TroubleShooting page?
What kind of connection and modem?

There are quite a few different solutions for this problem

Hi

Im running Windows Xp ,,broadband connection using Zyxel Prestige 600 modem (usb).
No other programmes or devices using the modem and i have tried reintalling the modem but no luck.
My Isp went through settings withme and could not come up with anything.
Its just annoying when it happens just unplug modem and it works fine after.

Its was a new machine which was full of Aol stuff and thought it could have something to do with them but have uninstalled all that but no luck there also
