Internet Explorer "Send Report Error" message..help!

Everytime i try to access the internet I get the "Send Error Report". It suggested me downloading the Windows XP Service pack 2 (something like that) but, the problem is I have a invalid License since my friend downloaded the Windows Xp Pro and installed it on my pc. This is what ive tried to fix it so far...

1. I ran search and destroy for spyware and it did find something but it fixed it..but IE didint still work.
2. I ran AVG Virus making sure it wasent a virus but it detected nothing.
3. I tried uninstalling IE and I installed it again but it was still the same.
4. Tried looking in the IE options but found nothing.

Is ther something that can help me fix my IE without having to reformat windows?...i miss surfing the web .

My connection stilll works i can play online and chat on AIM...

please help!

We would have to recommend that you purchase your own XP CD (one that includes SP2).
This will give you your security updates and your own CD which can be used for functions such as System File Checks aswell as Reinstalling.
