Is this forum hosted or does it have anything to do with the google syndicate? I ask this because when I opened a topic I saw in the bar on the bottom left hand side say http/www.googlesyndicate.com/$*$%*&##*#%. It made me think for a sec and wonder..

Interesting question, I used to wonder that same thing when Firefox starting hanging on that operation, causing the whole page to lock up for about 20 seconds each switch. I never got an answer, btw, I just stopped wondering.

Never mind... my brother found a new google media music download tool... he tryed to download so many songs it practically hijacked my browser...

Heh, if only there was a way to "fix" little brothers that think they know every thing about computers, then life would be perfect or, at least less annoying.

BTW he was downloading on another computer while I was on mine wondering why it said www.googlesyndicate.com..

I have seen that on alot on different sites recently. Pages have been slow loading because of it.

it did not have anything to do with your server. It had to do with the server that delivers googles ads. at times it seems to be a drag on sites that uses their ads.

Ok, after a couple hours of off and on thinking I came to this conclusion.

The google syndicate address I saw wasn't from my brothers downloading, in actuality this server's ads are sponsored by google, when my brother was downloading excessive music files it slowed down my browser inabling me to see the ads load up, if I we're going at normal speed I wouldn't have even seen them for it moved to fast. That's what happened.
