Is there a guide or tutorial for setting up and configuring program access and desktop access for multiple users on a windows 2000 pro system?I have been playing around with it but on the users desktop some items will appear in the start menu , others will not(a folder named microsoft office containing all microsoft office 2000 apps will not appear , no matter what i do.)Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

2000 has multiple Startup Menu sections and Desktop.
It has a Startup Menu folder for each user and also an All Users folder, same for Desktop.

copy the shorcuts from your start menu into All Users folder.

Unfortunately, some versions of Office are installed for each user.
Means you have to install it for every user.
