Hi. I am having a problem that I hope someone can help me with. My problem is this: I boot up my computer and it sounds ok, but the monitor light goes from green to yellow in a matter of two seconds. 1 out of 100 times i'd say I can get a green light and a picture on the monitor but with an eventual freeze. I have reseated the graphics card and even tried a new monitor to no avail. If it was to be the graphics card, would I still be able to get a picture on the monitor very seldomly? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Open the computer case then put a static strap on your wrist, pull the video card out again and then take one of those big fat pink erasers and scrub it up and down both sides of the edge connector on the bottom of the video card until the gold is nice and shiny, then reinstall the card and turn the computer back on and see what happens.
