System file error
i just posted on xp but i have since found out that the pc with the problem is originally a me system.
The system completely froze on us and unfortunately the res clark switched off at the mains. The system now has an error stating files are missing or corrupted \windows\sytem32\config\system. I do not have a boot disk for this pc as they have been lost but i do have an xp boot disk. is there any where i can get a copy of the boot file to do an asr. Please help as this is the main pc with all the database info on it and if lost will take months to reload. Cheers Jim
