First off I want everyone to know this isn't some kinda suck up or attempt at personal gain, this is what the CTH experience has done for me.
I came to this board a irritable and confused person, after becoming a member and spending time here I am now a calm and more organized person. CTH has offered me great tech support and gave me an example to follow. I just wanted the staff here to know that this site is practically a life changing experience. Thanks to all who participate and work at CTH.

Thank you for the kind words. I for one am most happy that you found CTH to be a place for both tech and personal growth. My only hope is that we can provide each member with the same such experience. Again thank you for the kind words and for sharing with us here at CTH, and remember.....A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet!

Unless they are using candy to lure you into their vehicle, then they might be a little too friendly, if you know what I mean. :D
Vercades, you are not alone with those feelings. CTH is a great place to be a part of and anyone who sticks around long enough can clearly see that it is more than just a place to get help with computers. There are plenty of things here to become a part of, and I am only beginning to scratch the surface of the possibilities.
The most unique thing about CTH, IMO, is that nearly everyone here works as a team with other members and shows a great amount of respect and appreciation for not only other active members, but new users and the computer illiterate alike. Those who do not seem to follow suit usually don't last long, or they become moderators. ;)
On a personal level, I have always felt very welcome here and that is truly the only reason I stick around. Sure, I love to help others with computer issues when my knowledge is applicable, but we all know I could go anywhere and do that, and so can the rest of you. If it weren't for bandwidth issues, I'd suggest CTH create a testimonials page so that those who have been helped can show graditude if they choose, but I think that page would get rather large, rather quickly. :)

Thanks for the good words about CTH. The difference between this site and the other 35 zillion tech-help boards, aside from the Zip-bashing, is the people here. From the site Admin down to the 1-time-poster, everyone counts here. Good advice, lots of experience/knowlege, respect for each other....it's all good. :)

One of the other sites has a "welcome" forum and they state the idea (at least partially) came from the friendly staff at CTH.
