I read somewhere, the other day, that the Canadian government is about to make it compulsory to speak French in public places. Is this a good idea? Some unkind people might say its impossible to understand them now so whats the difference? Anyone else got a view on this? :dizzy:

From what i know about canada, there are 76%people who can speak english and 24% who can speak french. So probably its not a decision which will be appreciated by many people.
